Dear Participants of MinWien2023,
Dear Colleagues and Friends,

it is a great pleasure to announce that the program for our MinWien2023 meeting has been finalized. All wishes regarding an oral presentation could be considered. Furthermore, overlaps between the registrations for any of the half-day tours and a lecture were avoided.

The program is promising, there are numerous exciting contributions.
Thus, we are all looking forward to an interesting and stimulating program with new research results and rich discussions. Please find the time schedule for the oral sessions as well as for the poster contributions at the website https://minwien2023.univie.ac.at/sci_program.html.

The organizing team, members of the Institut für Mineralogie und Kristallographie of the Universität Wien are very much looking forward to welcoming you in Vienna.

Some information regarding the presentation of your contribution:

Oral Presentations and uploading of your presentation

At MinWien2023 all presentations will be uploaded directly in the respective lecture hall. Speakers are kindly requested to bring their presentations on a USB stick directly to the respective lecture room not later than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. An assistant will upload the presentation in the on-site system. Please make sure your presentation is in a commonly used and widely compatible file format. When producing a PowerPoint file we recommend embedding all used fonts in order to guarantee a smooth presentation avoiding any surprises.

Poster presentation mounting, and removing posters

At MinWien2023 there will be three poster sessions: Session I (Monday), Session II (Tuesday), and Poster Session III (Wednesday). Posters need to be in the standard A0 format (841 x 1189 mm2, portrait format).
Mounting material is available from the registration desk. Please do not use any other material for mounting than the provided one. Posters should be mounted in the morning before 9:00 and removed before 18:30 in the afternoon. Please note: Posters which are not removed will be disposed by the MinWien2023 staff.
